History Meets Modern Charm at The Corner District
The Corner District first opened its doors as a wedding venue in a downtown Ball Ground building that was formerly known as A.W. Roberts and Sons General Store. After hosting weddings and special events for four years in this space, an opportunity presented itself to move into our forever home just a couple doors down the street.
Like many of the buildings in our quaint little town, our original wedding venue space had a fun history. And, our new home is no different! Hi Byers originally built the space as an auto garage with a filing station in the mid 1940s. Then, Diversified Manufacturing Company made metal parts out of the building in the 1970s. Ball Ground resident Oscar Robertson later obtained the building in the 1980s. And now, we are happily hosting life’s most cherished celebrations in a beautifully renovated minimal, modern, industrial wedding and event venue!
